
Mackerel toast spread
Supercharge your morning low carb toast with this easy to make Mackerel spread. It literally takes 5 minutes to put this together if you leave the butter out of the fridge overnight.
Ingredients
- 125 g Mackerel in tomato sauce (usually one small can)
- 125 g butter softened
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1/2 small onion (finely chopped)
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Leave the butter to soften for at least 4 hours (better overnight).
- Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl (use a food processor if you like) and mix them until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to your desired taste.
